2017 VSF - One Way Ticket To Mars
Electrofunk Vocoder from Outerspace. The dead astronaut on the cover was volunteered to take a one way ticket to Mars. He held his copy of the VSF vinyl til the end! The music video was basically the concept of that graphic designed by Hsky. The label artwork is also by her and are from prints and sketches.

1990 Los I.R.A.M. - Norman Bass, Test Pressing
A bass jam rapped by Jvibe! " Norman, Grandmix DJ cuts the jams both night and day! His mother is a little old, (Sweet ole lady can't even open the door)... " Norman Bass was never released because the people in charge complained that he didn't sound Black enough." Considering he was simply sounding like himself left him confused and refused to re-rap it per the requests. Jvibe grabbed the master tapes and cancelled the project. Only a few of these are out there.

1989 Renegade M.C. - Wabbit Remix Test Pressing.
This was eventually the one released on Dunk Yer Funk Records. The blue label is the remix. The white label is the original version. The Remix was a complete re-recording done by Jvibe after purchasing an Emulator sampler. The white label uses 8 bit samples from an Atari 520ST ( using a Navarone sampling cartridge) and an Oberheim DMX. The remix uses the Emulator with much higher quality.

New 12 inch VSF and Reakshone-X vinyls are now available. First is VSF - "Mega War" (catalog # B125) which is a bass heavy galactic vocoder electrofunk jam. Side B includes an instrumental version of the rare "Robokelectrik" track (From 2004). 150 copies.

The second 12 inch release is the 1990 ultra-rare Reakshone-X "It;s Party Time Again!" Those of you who love the Pretty Tony Freestyle type would be familiar with this track. Less than 50 copies exist of the original. Now, we have pressed 150 of a way better and cleaner recording.

Rare 1990 Reakshone-X - It's Party Time

Just coming off his new 12 inch vinyl in 1989, this photo was taken in early January 1990 in East LA. 29 years ago. It's rapper Chris "Candy" Dominguez from Pico Rivera aka Renegade MC. Standing in front a battery shop at 418 North Ford Blvd by Brooklyn Ave (now Cesar Chavez Blvd) in 90022. La Fama Bakery is where the awning is in the background. He performed at many spots including PicoRivera Sports Arena, East Los Angeles College, Fantasia Night clubs, Mr Js in El Monte and so on... He was on Dunk Yer Funk Records (JDC records).
