Starting July 2nd and running through the 23rd, I'll be interviewing musicians who contributed to The Red Album: Pagan Voices for Reproductive Rights. The album was assembled as a response to the outrageous overturning of Roe v Wade by the US Supreme Court a year ago June 24th. The album was released Saturday, June 24, 2023, and is available through Bandcamp and other online retailers.

Be sure to tune in every Sunday in July for an hour of new age and Pagan music followed by an hour of conversation with several participants in The Red Album and a listen to their contributions to the album and some of their other fantabulous music. That's every Sunday at 10AM Central on 89.3FM in Lincoln, NE, or online at www.kzum.org. You can listen only our favorite mobile listening app or up to two weeks after the original broadcast date thanks to the KZUM archives at www.kzum.org/archives.

July is going to be a busy month on the Magic Mess! Every week leading up to Lammas, I will be interviewing musicians who have taken part in The Red Album. Thanks to Alane Brown of Crow Women, hosts of the Pagan Song blog and Pan Fried, more than half of the artists involved in this unique compilation album will be joining me to talk about their particular song on the album, why they wanted to participate in the project and give you a listen to one or two of their other pieces available on their solo or band albums. I'll have a firm lineup for you before the first interview on July 2nd.
