To everyone who came out to celebrate Parker and to everyone who wished her a happy birthday, thank you. My home was full of smiles and my heart is over filled with love.

I am so grateful for the family that I have, moving back home to reconnect was the best decision we could have made.

I am also grateful for the women I have connected with through YouTube. You are the most supportive group of people I could ever ask to know. I just wish we all lived in the same town. But I know that we can keep checking in on each other's journeys and our families on Instagram.

I realized something today...i no longer have a tiny little baby.

I have a little girl.

I have been so focused on how stressful it has been getting our house ready for the past 9 months, how awful our living situation is, what projects i still haven't finished up at work, being terrified of another thing breaking on our cars and disappointing Garrett and Parker by not being 100% present. It has been so hard to not let my mind wonder these days to the millions of things that are going on around me.

But today as I sit waiting on the inspection and appraisal to be done on the house to tell me if we can move in next week or we have to wait another month, I realize I have missed Parker transition from a baby to a beautiful, strong, goofy, intelligent, helpful, loving and independent little girl.

No matter what is going on in your life right now just stop and hold your babies a little bit longer.
