1987 ©Beau Tardy - My first computer animation. Created on Dubner CBG-2 at Image Resource, Paris France. This was my very first CGI job and led to a career in TV graphics which culminated in me working for MTV/ Nickelodeon/ VH1 in the 1990s. Ironically inspired by the Dire Straits music video obviously. "I want my MTV!" (and I got it too!)

The Library of Congress has requested that my Video Art be part of their collection.

I made this video in 1993 as a piece of Television Art. It took me several months to put together by stealing time at high-end facilities late at night after my normal shifts. In 1993 systems such as Quantel Hal, Grass Valley switchers and video tape edit rooms where needed to do these kinds of effects. I made the music on a four track cassette deck. This video has been shown at Video Art festivals, New York City nightclubs as well as on Public Access in Manhattan. Now I have just learned that it has been included in the Library of Congress aa part of its collection at their request.
