Santa Fe Literary Review Santa Fe Literary Review is an annual in-print + online literary journal published by SFCC

An in-print literary journal, SFLR features work by local, national, and international writers and artists. From September 15 to November 1, we invite submissions of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction of a general literary interest, as well as visual art. Each issue has a suggested theme; the 2016 theme, as well as submission guidelines, will be announced on September 1, 2016. Contributors receive tw

o copies of the magazine and are invited to read at the annual SFLR reception, hosted on campus each fall. Pick up a free copy of the Review at the SFCC Libary or at SFCC's Liberal Arts Program Office - while supplies last.

'Stephanie Burt, an English professor who teaches a class on Taylor Swift at Harvard University, said by email: “I’m hoping the title ends up in part lighthearted, since you don’t have to be tortured to be a poet, or even to be a skillful one. No one should be tortured (literally), and no one should have to feel tortured (figuratively) to make lasting or emotionally engaging art.”'
