A two vehicle accident has caused traffic delays on Highway 55 North, just south of Kellyville Road. Initial reports indicted that what appears to be a work truck struck a dump truck that was stalled at the side of the roadway from behind. The driver of the work truck was entrapped when the vehicle caught fire. Bystanders were able to free the driver from the wreckage as the fire increased. The driver appears to have injuries but is alive. Highway 55 will be closed for an unknown amount of time and traffic is being rerouted.
