Confession: Since moving, I don’t need tv anymore. I am completely at peace watching my neighbor’s cows. One even gave birth in the field the other day AND we saw it take its first steps. My kids tease me to no end, but I am just in awe of these generally quiet creatures who pretty much spend their whole day eating. -Michelle

The youngest Cisco has a new self-instituted Bible reading plan. She “pops” a bubble (shout out to 🥰) for every day she reads. The “ancient wrappings” (old curtains turned dress-ups many years ago by 🙌😂) are just part of the vibe she says.
*New podcasts are slowly but surely coming. Life has been full to overflowing in both noisy houses these days. ❤️🤪

Update: Skink(s??) has not been found, but the fly population is significantly less since our little skink friend went missing in the house. 🤷🏼‍♀️😜😳

Friend or foe? It seems that these 5-lined skinks are indeed friends as they eat the many bugs at our new-to-us rural home. We found an adult in the free standing garage when we first moved in. We found a baby like the one pictured (picture from https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Fivelined_skink.jpg -jump-to-license) in our house, though. I would’ve taken a picture except I thought it was a plastic toy, but it fled the scene. In. Our. House. This was two days ago. And, now I need suggestions on how to sleep at night. The younger kids, however, are ecstatic about the discovery and hope we find more. 😬🤪😳😂🤷🏼‍♀️ www.noisyhouseproject.com

The Cisco Fam did part two of our move yesterday to our new place. (Pictures to come on the website sooooon! 🏠 ❤️) During part one last fall when we moved to a rental to scope out the area before buying, we had DEAR friends (we miss everyone so much!!!) help us pack. When we reused the boxes, I started to come across some of the notes on boxes from friends who helped us pack during part one.

The Cisco Fam is working hard painting and preparing our new place for move-in at the end of the month. I had never realized that being a “suburb girl” is almost the same as being a “city girl.” I’m so enamored by my new animal neighbors that I’m sure the human neighbors are shaking their heads.

So, many questions to answer these days. Between fixing an old house for the Baloche fam and hunting for a new house for the Cisco fam plus adjusting to new home states and doing all the things with our kiddos, we have been wiped out! BUT, look for some new material later on this summer. Thanks for your patience and support! In the meantime, count some of the cows on the farm that backs up to the Cisco’s new place. Seriously, we really will start podcasting again. Between fixing houses and buying houses, our days are full. But, check out the glimpse of the farm that backs up to the Cisco’s new place! The youngest Cisco is already dreaming of the cows and horses who will be hanging out with her. You will have to wait for the podcast to hear more details, but this has been a wild and amazing ride as we watch God unfold the plans He has for both of our families.
