TDOV - Trans Love & Joy
To all the trans folks reading this: YOU are worthy and you deserve to be loved.
Society wants us as trans people to believe that we are not worthy and we are not lovable. But don’t believe it.
Society sets us up to fail in our relationships, but we can and do overcome!
After transitioning it took a lot of work to fight society and realize my full worth. But once I did I was able to show up in relationships as my best self. Now I share an incredible love. Not only do we both recognize how special the other person is, we both recognize how special we ourselves are.
As a trans person, finding and sharing love (romantic and otherwise) is an act of defiance of the society we live in.
For me, it was important to have a wedding when I got married. To have a public showing of what it looks like to show up as a trans person and share a lifelong love and commitment with another person.
Here are some of my favorite pictures of my trans love and joy (with my fabulous cis-ally husband).

Happy Trans Day of Visibility.
This is a day for trans folks who can and are willing to be visible should be.
Many trans folks can't safely be visible, especially now with all the trans hate out there.
That is why it is important to me to be visible. To send a message to that we aren't going anywhere.
To send a message to the trans folks that you are loved. You are perfect. You don't have to be anyone or anything other than who you are.
We deserve rights and dignity.
If you're an ally, remember this: it is more important what you say and do when I'm not around than what you say and do when I am around. Ally is verb, it requires action.
There are tons of anti-trans bills being introduced right now. Chase Strangio and Chris Mosier are good at sharing action steps on IG

We’re on vacation in Ecuador🇪🇨but we know our little fur babies are in good hands.
