I have just started using the program called Unreal Engine 4 to begin creating the environments for an animated Christian film. I reached the "face-palm" stage where I realized just how easy it is to learn. For months I have been studying this program at a distance, afraid of all the buttons, switches, and k***s. Once you jump in though, it's not so bad...😳

For anyone interested in animated film as a cost savings alternative to high-quality filmmaking. Give some thought to Unreal Engine 4, Blender, and Unity. These three programs are free, top of the line, high-powered, and have a ton of online communities ready to help.

I have recently begun working on an animated film and I can't describe the joy I get from creating something from scratch again.

I have to watch lots of tutorials and spend hour after hour behind my computer desk. But this is a big step for me and my studio brand I'm trying to build, Generation Studios.

I just formed the basic structure of my studio when Christ brought me this project and at times I have felt this was too much too soon. But the client is very patient and reasonable and is also new to animation. We are a match made in heaven, pun intended.

My personal and financial life is still all a complete mess but I want to urge and encourage all you wondering and waiting with your talents, just do it, just....do it. Take a risk even though you feel you won't be good enough or you won't measure up.

Remember Moses, he felt the same, but he went anyways and he and the world after him, for generations, have learn of the power and wisdom of God to save those of mankind who have believed.

In our darkest moments, light shines the brightest.
