How many people remember the story of Judas? Judas was one of the original Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ. It’s been told that Judas was the one who betrayed Jesus. There are several passages in the bible that lead to this. But why? Why did Judas betray Jesus and why did it have to happen? These are just a few questions we ask and try to answer in this episode.

More importantly, we compare ourselves to Judas. Yes, you read that right, look in the mirror and say, “I am Judas”. Now before you get upset, take a listen as we explain the why we all are Judas at some point in or lives.

So, there are things that happen in life, Businesses go awry, relationships don't work out, death of family and friends, your kids grow up, and so forth. And when stuff like that happens, you go through a transition and in order to move forward, you have to let go of those things. Letting go is not always the easiest thing to do. Be still is the topic of this episode. Often times in life we move to fast, we worry or stress about matters that we might not even have control over. We fear the outcome of something or we fear the unknown. It’s times such as these is when we need to “Be Still” trust God, talk to God. Here is a clip from the show, James is talking about an author by the name CS Lewis and in one of his books wrote a conversation between Satan and Jesus….

CS Lewis, had some great books, great aspects on theology, but he wrote this in 1942. And here we are, 78 years later and he wrote this in a book and he said, This is Satan talking, says “I will cause anxiety, fear and panic. I will shut down businesses, schools, places of worship and sports events, I will cause economic turmoil.” Now, Jesus responds to Satan and they're having a conversation. Jesus says, “I'll bring together neighbors, restore the family unit. I'll bring dinners back to the kitchen table. I will help people slow down their lives and appreciate what really matters. I will teach my children to rely on me and not the world. I would teach my children to trust me and not their money and material resources.”

What does it mean to be a Servant leader? Take a listen as the guys breakdown leadership but more importantly servant leadership.

I like to add the term servant leadership, because it humbles the term. It puts us in a position of saying, you know what, you're not on top. You're not the guy with the corner office with all the windows. Servant leadership is the guy… If you look at the picture of the guy on the bottom, holding a platform and everyone who works for him or her, he or she is supporting, lifting them up making THEM better, providing the foundation for them to succeed. That servant leader is humbling themselves before God. And before people.

John 3:30 - He must become greater; I must become less.
