📣 Altered Collection Schedule This Week!

🗑️ ♻️ Garbage, recycling, and yard waste will NOT be collected on Thursday, December 25. Beginning December 26, collections will be delayed one day, with all routes being completed by Saturday, December 27.

This time next week, we'll be birding! 🦅

Meet us at the Fort Matanzas Visitor Center at 10:00 AM on December 10th! We'll be walking the trails until 11:30 AM.

This event is free, and no sign-up is required. Water, sunscreen, bug spray, and closed-toed shoes are strongly encouraged. Binoculars will be available to borrow as supplies last. All birders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This event is open to all skill levels.

We look forward to seeing you in the park! 🏝️

📣 Good news: The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners voted to adopt the MAXIMUM Conservation Impact Fee, phased in over five years.

💵 This is a big step in the right direction for funding land conservation and could generate up to $3M annually once fully implemented.

🙏 THANK YOU to everyone who emailed our Commissioners. Your voices are being heard!

St. Johns County residents are invited to safely dispose of household hazardous waste and obsolete electronics at a free collection event.

📅 Saturday, December 6
🕗 8 a.m. – Noon
📍 St. Johns County Fairgrounds: 5840 SR 207, Elkton

St. Johns County Residents ONLY – No household garbage, construction debris, tires, or large appliances will be accepted. 🚫
