This time next week, we'll be birding! 🦅

Meet us at the Fort Matanzas Visitor Center at 10:00 AM on December 10th! We'll be walking the trails until 11:30 AM.

This event is free, and no sign-up is required. Water, sunscreen, bug spray, and closed-toed shoes are strongly encouraged. Binoculars will be available to borrow as supplies last. All birders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This event is open to all skill levels.

We look forward to seeing you in the park! 🏝️

📣 Good news: The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners voted to adopt the MAXIMUM Conservation Impact Fee, phased in over five years.

💵 This is a big step in the right direction for funding land conservation and could generate up to $3M annually once fully implemented.

St. Johns County residents are invited to safely dispose of household hazardous waste and obsolete electronics at a free collection event.

📅 Saturday, December 6
🕗 8 a.m. – Noon
📍 St. Johns County Fairgrounds: 5840 SR 207, Elkton

St. Johns County Residents ONLY – No household garbage, construction debris, tires, or large appliances will be accepted. 🚫

🍂 Gamble Rogers Food Distribution Update! 🍁
This week looks a little different due to Thanksgiving 🦃 — so here’s what you need to know! ⬇️

📣 NO distribution on Thursday, November 27th.
Instead, we will hold our distribution the day before:

🗓 Wednesday, November 26th
⏰ 3:30–5:00 PM
📍 6250 US 1, St. Augustine, FL
🚪 Doors open after 2:30 PM — please don’t arrive earlier than that.

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ This is a walk-up distribution. Follow the signs for parking.
🛍️ Bring reusable bags or a wagon if you can — not required! We have plenty of plastic bags available.
