Sometimes I also get to do so fun projects like painting unfinished edges of a painting by another fellow artist. My choice of colour is a muted, greyish green to set the tone for the scene.

I do love all my paintings. Some more than others. However this one, I fell deeply in love with when I painted it. Stood there in front of it for hours and hours in awe (it seemed 😆)
So, I had to paint it one more time for myself.
Looking at both together, it's fascinating how similar, but different they are. What differences do you see?

Commissioned guitar portrait is going home to a wonderful talented musician. It's already the 4th time I am painting one of her instruments. Feeling honoured to be thought out to trust me again with her newest addition.
No greater compliment to see that the painting made it into a Facebook cover picture right after sending a photo of the finished artwork. ❤️
