ROBERT BOYSEN MEMORIAL SERVICE
The Robert Boysen Memorial Service was held on Thursday April 25, 2024 at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana, AZ. Bob was a very kind man, and an effective sales accountant for KGVY for over 15 years. He always had a smile on his face, had a joke to be told, and was a true friend. His “bigger-than-life” personality will always be remembered by those who had the privilege to know him.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Deanna Kay Boysen of 58 years, his daughter-in-law Stephanie Boysen, his nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob was an Army veteran and he worked for many years for the City of Sierra Vista. Most recently, he was employed at KGVY and enjoyed anything and everything around radio and technology. Interestingly, Bob was a child stand-in actor in California for many shows, including My Three Sons and The Mickey Mouse Club.
Bob was preceded in death by his twin sons Bobby and Billy, his parents, and his sister.

In The Know with SAV Doug Kenyon and Introducing PCSD Green Valley District Commander Lt. Courtney Rodriguez. Some great points for residents and visitors as it related to Summer Storms and how those storms can also bring out Snakes and other Critters. Tune in for this Weeks In The Know!
I knew that I had two different cardinals that would visit me on occasion in my backyard, but this is the first time that I’ve seen them together. How cool is that? One of them is totally red except for the mask. I’ve name that one Gloria. Gloria Allred.
I have a couple quails that visit me as well. One of the quails I’ve named Dan. Dan Quayle. And of course, I’ve got a variety of other birds as well. I’m waiting for the first fried chicken to come across my wall , which is my favorite kind of bird.
