Join us on October 18th, 2024 at 6:00PM at Backyard Dream Productions (Wisconsin's ONLY Virtual Production Studio) (5800 7th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53140) for the third 5 MINUTE Horrors student challenge.

You will have 48 hours to craft your own 5 Minute Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, or Thriller short film to be screened at the 2025 Port of Fear Film Festival where participants will be treated to an all access pass to films and networking opportunities with professional filmmakers from across the country.

Great Day 1 of filming Wrestling, such a talented cast and crew! We are filming the actual wrestling Sunday the 22nd @ Milton High School, rain or shine, starting at 8, we’d love to have you join us and make this big scenes special. It’s the last day of filming for C-FAM - Children's Film Academy of Madison this year. Stay as long as you want, street clothes no logos. We hope to see you there!

We are back! Had to take a minute to get approval from the WIAA for Wrestling Season, we are good to go now. Sorry for the drop in communication and if you haven't heard from us please reach out as we scramble to get back on track. Thanks for your patience!

We are also still inviting kids and adults to join our shoot at Milton High School on the 22nd. Come for a few hours or half the day, not much commitment to get to see how a film set works and help create community art and tell local stories. Email us ([email protected]) for details or show up, street cloths without logos or words is the wardrobe, and if you are a wrestler please bring your personal gear and warm ups.

It’s always a miracle production comes together, and there’s no better feeling when it all starts to click. Wrestling Season is filming in a few weeks and the support and involvement is wide! Casting for Wrestling Season (a short film) , directed by Kat Hawkins and starring Madilyn Peach (2024 State Wrestling Champ). Mostly we are asking for about 4 hours of time, a few roles will be slightly more, each role is on set 1 day.

Speaking Roles:
Dean Staten - 18-21 Older brother of the lead character. He wrestles in college. Shoots Sept 20

Coach - 30-50 male or female shoots Sept 22

Referee - 30-50 male or female, bonus if you have the uniform, shoots Sept 22,

Father of Wrestler - 30-50 male, shoots Sept 22
Mother of Wrestler - 30-50 female, shoots Sept 22

Featured Roles:
High School Wrestlers, boys and girls - Shoots Sept 22
- other wrestlers will be teammates of the main character and on opposing teams - no wrestling experience is necessary
