YSL could have dodged a bullet around this Lavender blush scandal by not calling these blushes as universal shades
Then the focus of the reviews would have been that it was questionable at best even for fair skinned humans
But because they focused on making it universal to even editing their marketing material (that has now been taken down) to reflect that. Which to this day I’m still wondering how they did it.
People are up in arms. Because they promised it was universal and set an expectation that anyone can use it.
At the filming and posting of this video all we’ve seen YSL do is take down those specific images that have been featured in other creator videos but has not addressed the problem.
