I went to an amazing auction sale today in Ohio where this 1971 Dodge Charger built by Petty Enterprises was pulled from a barn where it had rested for nearly 45 years! If you're an old skool racing or NASCAR fan you may recognize names like Bobby Mausgrover, Dick May, Johnny Benson and Tony Bentenhausen Jr. They all drove this car, then #84, in the Winston cup series 1970 thru 1977 at Daytona, Talladega, Atlanta, Darligton and Michigan. Bidders from around the country were vying for the chance to be it's next owner.... video in the works! Share my page and check out my YT channel.

One of the items in a huge $700 scrap pile that sold at the latest auction I attended was this old relic. The advertisement is from 120 years ago. It might be hard to tell size from the photo but it was every bit of 7' tall.

Auctions everywhere today. I had several I was interested in but the one in Tekonsha Michigan drew my interest last minute. It was stated to be a 'clean up sale'. A dairy farm since the 50s and then a large 2000 acre hay farm. The property and most of the equipment was sold at auction last year. Today was and interesting mix of items. A lot of random odd and ends left overs from the last sale and clean up of huge scrap piles. I really started to wonder if it was worth my time to drive 1.5 hrs. to get video content for YouTube. Ultimately the trip payed off with my only buy for the day. I saw what I thought was a large rolled up tarp. It was a 50'x50' epdm pond liner. I'm sure that no one including the auctioneer realized what it was or the value of it. See pictures....
