What would Cincinnati’s Music Hall look like if music were a tangible, physical force moving through its historic architecture? Exploring this ephemeral concept was the driving force behind THE ELISION: Lightborne’s 2024 Blink Cincinnati projection mapping spectacle. 👁️

Our Story

In 1985, Lightborne was founded in the historic Over-The-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. Housed in a converted five-story industrial building, Lightborne was beautifully transformed by renowned architect Jose Garcia. The renovated production house boasts a 2200 sqft. production studio with two wall-cyc, an ISDN-capable ProTools HD studio and VO booth, 2 private editorial bays, a color correction suite, and a full-service 2D/3D animation team. Lightborne is a state-of-the art creative studio with clients ranging from Cincinnati Bell to Olay, Katy Perry to Zac Brown Band, the Bengals to the Cavs. We are well-versed in many production and post operations -- from one screen to one-hundred -- and although we take pride in our global achievements, we're equally as passionate and excited about our local endeavors.
