This day was AMAZING for my fitness/nutrition goals. I exceeded my step goal, drank 100+ ounces of water, and met all macro/fiber goals. Proud is an understatement. Week 2 Day 1.

Dinner for this evening. Super proud of myself for hitting my macros 3 of the 4 days so far this week. Yesterday I was under 66 g of protein but had I forced myself; I definitely would have 🤮. Focusing on listening to my body through this journey.

Dinner on the fly night #2. For some reason; I woke up nauseous this morning and just didn’t make for much of an appetite all day. Trying to cram 900 cals in one meal is hard all while fitting it into my macro allowance. Day 3 of week 1 complete.

Quick dinner made on the fly just fitting remaining macros for the day. Got myself a nutrition coach and devoting 100% effort into me and my health for the next 6 weeks. I will NOT put myself last just because others do it or lack healthy boundaries. I’m so glad these skills are just like riding a bike.

Nothing compares to the companion of a bird. Since Oct 29th, this bird has brought me so much joy and peace. The magnitude of trust between her and I is just magical. Sakari is now 5 months old! Outside my kids, she’s the best damn gift I’ve received in life.

Bought this beautiful, handmade crystal souvenir when Erik and I traveled to Sweden. This was my first, big purchase on an item for myself after we started our business and a beautiful piece that made my heart flutter with memories of my sweet Siku. Love that we can find little things in life that bring back such joy even after a horrific loss.
