Do you enjoy learning the history of Wilmington and the American Revolution? The 250th anniversary quickly approaches, and the Burgwin-Wright House & Gardens is toasting to the American Revolution in the Cape Fear. There will be trivia, giveaways, and beer and wine in the gardens.

March 30th, book a tour to cruise up the Cape Fear River with Wilmington Water Tours as Burgwin-Wright House assistant museum director Hunter Ingram, guides you on an interesting journey taking you back to Colonial Times to learn about the Wilmington that Jamie and Claire Fraser would have seen in the "Outlander" series.

Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce Restaurant Week begins March 8, and CB100 is also kicking off the Centennial Food & Beverage program with Carolina Beach's restaurants & bars.

Inspired by cocktails and menu items from the 1920's, the first highlighted Centennial Menu Specials will be available at .cb beginning on March 8 through September 7.

One Tree Hill was filmed here in Wilmington, NC. Every year OTH fans come together to meet the cast, see where the tv show was filmed, tour the city, and even some spots downtown like "Karen's Cafe" makes a comeback just for the weekend.

This weekend, the Moores Creek National Battlefield will host it's 249th Anniversary Event in Currie, NC- On Saturday, February 22, and Sunday, February 23.
The Moores Creek National Battlefield will commemorate the 249th Anniversary of the Battle of Moores Creek Bridge. Park staff, park partners, volunteers, and other living historians will be offering a variety of programs and demonstrations throughout the weekend.
The event will begin with a Wreath Laying Ceremony at 10:00 am on Saturday the 22nd.
Demonstrations and programs will include battle commemoration programs at 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm on Saturday the 22nd and 1:00 and 3:30 pm on Sunday the 23rd, performances by the Tryon Palace Fife and Drum Corps on Saturday, Feb. 22 and the Wilmington Police Pipes and Drums on Sunday the 23rd, as well as playing 18th-century toys and games, blacksmithing, candle making, Loyalist and Patriot programs, guest speakers, guided tours, and more!
The park will also be hosting the 2nd Division Marine Corps Band for a special performance on Saturday the 22nd at 2:00 pm.

Looking for a spot your whole group of friends can hangout and enjoy? Rally Point Bar & Arcade is located in downtown Wilmington and has over 2 floors of fun!
They have an amazing bartender, Amir, who made us excellent drinks throughout our gaming experience. We each loaded our game cards with $20 ($1/game) and tonight and every Wednesday games are 1/2 off so fifty cents per game and $5 whiskeys!!

Mark your calendards for the fun events in the Brooklyn Arts District- this month's business feature is Edward Teach Brewing

February 8th is the B.A.D Pre-Super Bowl event at Edward Teach. They will have a free nacho bar and “minute to win it” games such as Mini field goal, Football Scrabble, Football Pong and other fun little games with prizes for winners.
February 15th is the B.A.D. Sweetheart Stroll- this is all for WNC relief and each location will be donating a portion of proceed to this cause. They will have a “Lock Your Love” Arch where guests can purchase a lock and “lock their love” and it will also be a photo opportunity. All proceeds from lock sales will be donated. They will also be donating $1 per pint to the cause.
February 25 they will be having trivia night and featuring the following week's Fat Tuesday Trivia game. Those who attend will get a sneak peak and answers to some of the music they will be playing- jazz & new orleans inspired music. They will have fun prizes to give away that correlate with New Orleans and fun on March 4th for Fat Tuesday.
