Emerald Summers Presents: Bass Battleground 2022 Year Summation DJ Tournament
From June to December, Emerald Summers Presents will be hosting the first Bass Battleground hosted by ALAANIEL over 15 weekends as 16 EDM artists compete head-to-head from the web to a live-action VS event where a live audience peaks the pressure. Each artist showcases their skills in one-on-one knockout Rounds for a chance to receive $200 cash, a swag bag, and a featured publishing by Emerald Summers Presents!

Tune into the Battleground on our Twitch channel on select Sundays from 3PM - 9PM Eastern and decide who earns a place in ESP EDM history! Each pair of tributes will give half-hour solo performances followed by an hour together. You get to vote who will be the inaugural BASS BATTLEGround WINNER! Voting begins at the lineup announcement and closes the following midnight and performances recorded to rewatch, then the winners revealed midweek. All of this leading up to an in-person duel for the ultimate victory!

Round 1, 2, 3, Fight!
This Summer kicks off the DJ competition with Round 1 until September, spanning 8 dates of interactive, livestreamed battles on Twitch to declare which Jockey has what it takes to stand a chance in the following Rounds. Each digital duel in Round 1 will host 2 mixing DJs competing in the electronic genre assigned to them. After a crowd vote is taken, the majority-favored will progress into the next Round and be one step closer to glory.

Round 2 will span October and November with 4 battles as the best in genre is now forced to one-up their challenger in a new way, from set composition to technical finesse. Match-ups will be made at random for their tournament brackets. Round 3 in November and December determines the top 2 DJs to fight for a real-world victory. We are excited to launch this exciting event structure and meet you from the venue to your home through the screen.
