Recent projects include the final dub for Billie Eilish’s Disney+ movie ‘Happier Than Ever’, score mixes for the Warner Bros. Pictures movie Mortal Kombat and Universal Pictures The Invisible Man among several other projects for clients including Netflix, Universal Music Publishing Group and Interscope Records.

Designed in close collaboration with Dolby to be the best Certified Atmos mix stage of its size in the world, we were honored to be nominated in the 36th Annual NAAM TEC Awards for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Studio Design.

With this announcement, Dolby and Apple Music are pioneering a sonic revolution by bringing the incredible immersive experience of music in Dolby Atmos to everyone. Hearing music in Atmos is as dramatic as going from mono to stereo - it hits hard.

We worked closely with Dolby over a period of two years to create The Mix Lab, a Dolby Atmos Certified mixing facility in the heart of Santa Monica, California. Our aim was to create a beautiful and inspiring environment for artists, composers, producers and engineers to experiment with the incredible potential of Atmos and push it to its limits and beyond, with 24 ATC speakers and a 64 channel AVID S6 console.

We converted a stunning former art gallery in the heart of the Santa Monica media district into our cutting edge Dolby Atmos certified audio and music post production facility.

The visionary design by architect Peter Grueneisen and his firm nonzero\architecture was recently nominated in the 2021 NAAM Foundation TEC Awards for Best Studio Design.

Our lobby highlights the original bow-truss warehouse space, with its 24 ft ceilings, and is a perfect space for clients to enjoy a coffee from next door Good Boy Bob Coffee (the best on the Westside).

We partnered with ATC Loudspeaker Technology Ltd to bring the world’s first steel-reinforced, passive ATC SCM-45s speakers, custom built in the ATC factory especially for The Mix Lab.

Having the steel reinforcement to the speaker body and externalizing the three-way amplifiers was the only way to safely fly so many SCM-45s on the studio ceiling and walls, an integral part of the unique design of our Dolby-certified ATMOS studio studio, recently recognized in our NAAM Foundation TEC Awards nomination for achievement in studio design.

The Mix Lab is the first Dolby Certified Atmos mix studio in world to deploy the new Apple 6K Pro Display XDR, offered as standard for all clients. An insane resolution of 6144x3160 means massive sessions can be navigated with total ease, and over a billion colors and a super wide viewing angle enhances workflow in unexpected ways. ProTools in 6K is a sight to behold! A perfect pairing with our HDX6 2020 Mac Pros that drive the studio.
