Im putting the final touches on the routes for this years community social runs.
These are free group rides hat are open to the community. I just want to encourage people to get out and ride. See parts of the valley they haven’t seen before and eat the food of some really good small mountain town burger joints!
Best of all is that it’s a great way to meet other riders and hit some of the best blue sky roads I’ve ever seen!
I’ll post the calendar of rides of both the social runs and benefit rides. I’ll be riding to raise money for pits and other pups but more on that later 🐶

My ‘82 Shovelhead the day I brought him home. He came to me named “Grumpy” as most shovelheads become known because of their reluctance to kick over.
Well he’s up on the lift right now getting new tons, wiring and a new new new lease on life with a fully rebuilt motor 😈

Letting go…
I have a lot of attachment to things I love. Objects i desire that I’ve acquired. Objects. Items. Things. I can develop attachments to them and lavish them with attention, but at the end of the days of days; they’re just things and have to be let go of at some point in time.
My Tahoe has been in the shop for a minute and I may have to let it go and choose another.
My Drifter had been having a recurring issue with fuel delivery. I’ve replaced all but one fuel component inside of the motorcycle but if the problem persists I may have to release attachment there as well.
I could be bummed about it but I can also feel the freedom and excitement of looking forward to something new. Something better. Something more exciting. They’ve done me well up to this point but… how much better could it be?!?

Thanks for the empty parking lot!
I was going to turn around in the next housing complex but I remembered this perfectly creepy and desolate parking lot next to a decrepit hotel. There was a nicely placed murder mattress dumped there so I pulled up for a photo shoot 🐶

Ahhhh!! That felt good!
I took advantage of the sunny morning and went out for a ride.
What can I say? It was good to get out and feel the freedom of the road again. I had good leathers on so the cold wasn’t an issue. It was all smiles for a few miles around the block and then back home again 😃😃😃
