📢 𝐁𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐲𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐑𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤! 🏦💪 Our Buckeye community is fighting to keep Huntington Bank (11623 Buckeye Rd.) open, a vital resource for many. This grassroots movement, led by dedicated residents, aims to prevent the bank’s closure and improve its services. Neighbors have been collaborating with Huntington to enhance products and invest in Buckeye and other similar neighborhoods. A soon-to-be-released documentary will highlight the efforts of neighbors and inform viewers of our fight to retain the bank branch. Will you join neighbors in preserving our neighborhood’s financial lifeline..?! Together, we can make a difference! We got a unique chance to meet the artists of @eastendneighborhood’s Ubuntu Gathering Space as they were ‘in action’, adding more vibrancy to the community space. Sign Up for Cleveland’s Curbside Recycling Program! Registration Extended: The City of Cleveland is shifting to a bi-weekly, opt-in recycling program. Residents interested in opting in to the curbside recycling program must sign up by Friday, November 5th, 2021 through the opt-in form (https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/31e404d4e83b4f1f92cea7f8d43f7865) or by calling 216-664-3030 and agree to the recycling program guidelines. Who’s Eligible to Participate: ♻️ All City of Cleveland residents and homeowners who live in a single-family household or a multi-family building up to four (4) units, serviced by the City of Cleveland Division of Waste are eligible to participate in the curbside recycling program. ♻️ As a condition of participation, residents will be asked to sign a pledge to follow all curbside recycling guidelines. Other Recycling Options: When recycling services resume, drop off recycling containers will also be available for City of Cleveland residents at two locations: East Side- Located at the corner of East 55th and Euclid Avenue (24 hour access) West Side- 3727 Ridge Road (Monday-Saturday, 9am-3pm) Residents interested in learning more about proper recycling and disposal of household materials can visit: www.cuyahogarecycles.org

The day begins at Benedictine HS (2900 MLK Jr. Blvd, 44104) with a Freedom Walk to the Art & Soul Park (11802 Buckeye Rd., 44120) where you'll find entertainment, resources and a vendor village until 5p!
