I was frikken amazing.
Ready to get back to the grind on Monday but I’d be lying if I said I was glad to leave the beach 🏝️
But if I’m being honest- I feel like I need a vacation from my vacation… 😅

Why am I my own toughest critic?
Today felt like an all-star episode of 'Hot Mess Express - the house is a mess, kids (Rose 😂 mostly) are arguing, and work is piling up - a textbook definition of a sh*t show!
BUT… while I felt I had failed at the day as a whole, I realized that in fact - the house wasn’t that bad, everyone was alive and (mostly) well, and I had done so much for my business this week!
While I realize all this, I’m like, well, f*ck! I think I have done pretty darn great this week.
So what if today was filled with what felt like sh*t show-ry 🤷♀️ it’s ok.
So here is your reminder it’s OK!
It’s ok if your house isn’t immaculate, you don’t like your children or your spouse right now 😂, or you didn’t get everything you wanted done.
Here is your reminder to celebrate yourself a little bit everyday BECAUSE you are pretty great!

Me: "Lol, yes, I work over the weekend when I need to.
It's quiet because my team doesn't really work weekends.

5 Things To Keep In Mind When Niching Down!
The "ALL-INCLUSIVE" approach is for the birds.
Selling to everyone is selling to no one. Now I am not saying that by some chance, someone who isn't in your niche would never buy from you, but that is NOT a strategy. Focus on who you are passionate about serving and what unique problems you can solve for them!
Your language needs to be ON POINT.
Everyone has gotta know who you are talking to, and keywords are a great way to do this! Targeted keywords and phrases should be all over your website copy, social media profiles, and really any marketing materials. Be clear about what you offer and who you serve.
Create content with your NICHE IN MIND.
Use your blog, podcast, or social media platforms to address your ideal audience's specific pain points, goals, and interests. This will help you establish your authority in your niche and attract the right clients. Trust me, they will know when you are talking to them!
Focus on your SIGNATURE product or service.
Instead of trying to do it all once (I am a mompreneur, guilty), specialize in one area, make it your zone of genius and become known for it. Can you say Industry Expert - hello!
Connect with other ALL-STARS in your niche.
Connect, Collaborate, and Co-create! And do it with others who are passionate about the same thing you are. Learn from others' successes (and failures), and expand your reach.

My thanksgivings used to be coated with shame!
Shame that my family didn't look like those I saw all around me, shame that I wasn't giving my son the “memories” he so desperately needed to not turn out a serial killer! 😂🤷♀️
As an immigrant with no family in the States my holidays & special events will always look different, I realize now that is OK! Because my little family is circled by love, individuality, and the freedom to create new traditions!

Don't take the social out of social media.
So when you sit down and write your content, you should ask yourself - “how do I turn this into something that I like and appreciate?”
Because if you're not into it, your audience won't be either.
Instagram is always on the look out for any behavior that looks "automated".
Bots can be helpful but they are strictly forbidden as stated in Instagram's terms of use.
Repetitive behavior such as using the same message and comments on different accounts and liking and following too many people at a time, can give off the "automation" vibe.
Avoid any repetitive robot like actions to avoid getting a spanking.
Spanking is usually is in the form of shadow banning, which is when the almighty algorithm reduces your reach significantly to a point where even if someone searches for your account on IG, you're the last account at the bottom of the list.

Sending people DM's a few years back might have been on trend and maybe some people were getting results from it.
But Social media grows in dog years, and that means most people are now more aware of the intent behind those DM's.
Sending these supposedly nice messages and asking people how they are even though you've never ever met them screams PROMO to be honest.
Unless its genuine, don't use it. Keep sharing what people love to see and in no time your DM's will be stuffed with people who want you.
Please send DM's only when it actually makes sense. Your audience can read between the lines.

Instead 80% of your time everyday on the tasks that move the needle.
I am talking about tasks that help you secure that bag girl, so you can scale and afford a brilliant team to help you.
So if you're calendar is a bit of a cluttered mess at the moment, go in and select tasks that can help you get more business first and ignore the rest for now.
And don't get me wrong, I understand the details are important too, but while you have limited time focus on the tasks that can get you more resources and capacity first. Comprende?😉
Girlfriend, I am not here to tell you what you already know.
A post should have great visuals and a captivating caption, yes everyone knows that.
But the mightiest posts are the kind that have the reader in mind.
If you can express your captions with the same emotion your audience feels, you have it locked down!
So you've been making the effort to be consistent with your posting on social media, but you're not getting real engagement from it?
Here is what to do:
1. Start using 8-10 hashtags that are related to your post.
2. I get it, you're very busy and you don’t have the time to make a failproof strategy.
So you just post whatever you can come up with in the moment.
BUT
People are looking for value, researching their pain points and providing solutions is the only key to unlocking their attention.
Making use of the little time you have to make valuable posts would pay off more than just posting anything.
For each post you make, ask yourself this, if this was someone else's post would I remember it?
3. Words have power my friend, your captions don't have to be long but they need to touch your audience.
Make sure that every word you write represents your brand.
