You guys know I’m huge on healing within. Healing yourself because you’re the only one capable of doing such. I was reading my devotion this morning it was so much that dawned on me.

In one of the devotions the author, Andrena Sawyer] , discussed how challenges build character and how God doesn’t view restoration as a replacement but as intimacy. I started this devotion because I saw my relationship with Christ was beginning to diminish by some of my actions that not everyone could see, but God saw them all. So when I read restoration and intimacy I was like oh wow! This devotion is really helping me to realize things and become vulnerable with God and myself about things and people I need to cut off to follow the blueprint God has laid out for me.

Change is good! It’s good when God tells you to do it. I think back on working with my favorite marketing .co and Imani saying you have to your find niche. I wanted to help everyone! And while I may impact the lives of many I’m not for everybody. So here we are with Sis, You Good? It’s November! I’m excited for this month and moving forward. Prior to this month God and I have been talking and I was telling Him about the heaviness weighing on my heart about life trials and all that. He gave me assurance that He will take care of me as long as I maintain my focus on Him through, and after, the blessings He gives me. I gave God my yes and He’s already acting up!

I had a discrepancy in my lease agreement causing me to receive a credit. I’m not going to lie and say when I noticed it and was cool. I was prepared to go in with the leasing office. God gently reminded me that He had me and I said ok and forgot about it. Those received messages showing God is moving hit differently when you really trust in Him.

My mentor would always say, “God don’t play about me!” And I’m feeling like that! Trust the wait, mind your heart posture (humility and obedience) and watch Him work!

As God is having me be more intentional about my post instead of acceptance driven (likes), I want to share a testimony.

My uncle was in a restaurant yesterday and a man entered the restaurant with an assault rifle. As he’s licensed to carry, his physical protection was in the car. Long story short, no one was shot or anything. And that’s the power of God, the ultimate protection!

As we’ve been seeking God face, He’s been pouring into us. What I love most about this story is, who’s to say that my Uncle Maine wasn’t the angel of the day?!? Because of the living God abiding in Him lives were say. Do you know what’s in the people surrounding you?

Hey Nieces and Neps! My biological family and I have been through a lot this year, which I’m believing many others have experienced with the current state of the world. One thing we have learned is that although God has not always responded by our will, He’s still God and has seen us through, growing us closer together and in Him. I just want to encourage you all to have FAITH in God. If your day seems heavy, take it to God in prayer, go to your community and pray together. And when someone ask for prayer, stop what you’re doing and pray for them in that moment; not delaying as you may forget with that busy schedule🙃! I love you guys and we’re family. So if you’re needing prayer, feel free to reach out 🥰! Matthew 18:20

Nieces and Neps!! What’s your heart posture this morning? The more time I spend learning God’s Word, I’m captivated by questions such as this. This morning I woke up and was caught up in the thought of “God how can I serve you today?” I don’t have a clear answer, but I’m believing God to show me what it is he desires from me.

Y’all! I’m more than excited for this new series to drop! I’m not going to wish November to get here any sooner and just enjoy this wait. As we prepared for this series, God showed me a lot of things that I need to complete in my waiting time. Just know your waiting season isn’t for you to have a pity party and become stagnant. Waiting is imperative to becoming prepared and well equipped during your reset for your next move!

Family! God is up to something. So it’s crazy, that the series for the wait is beginning next week. Ironically, I recorded the last episode today. I go to my car to run errands and things and I have a significant flat tire, to the point my car is leaning and I use my hazard lights to make to the nearest store to put air in my tire.

Long story short, I started getting discouraged and was like “God if it’s not one thing it’s another.” I stopped and began thanking God for making away for my tire to be repaired my safety and so much more and asked for forgiveness for complaining instead of celebrating the good.

As soon as my mentality changed God said, “The Wait is almost over! Signed God” I say ok God! This your business I’m just a willing vessel. So! I want to encourage some one today and say “The Wait is Almost over. Signed God” be encourage and find joy in the wait 😉

I’m amazed at this move! So here are my thoughts. If you CANNOT control your actions and believe you will result in destructive activities, please stay home! People of all ages will be present and we need to protect the lives of those who still have BREATH in their lungs. What do I hope the protest will IGNITE for my hometown and the surrounding areas? That Black Americans will be seen as humans and not a highlight for County’s Sports, the dismantling of Black Americans are bad people, that an effective and empathetic communication bridge will be established and utilized to understand the Black community.

I’ve been in thought about Black America’s history. The day our ancestors’ feet hit this soil, they were viewed as machines: work the fields maintain the “Big House”, take care of White Americans families before your own, entertain the guest at the party. And now in today’s society we’re looked at as advanced machinery. Entertainment through physical ability of sports, music industry, dance, Do the best research but be a co-author, meet everyone else’s needs before your own. We’re not Machines! We’re human beings! Our lives, money abilities are important to making America the best.

Don’t allow hatred and bitterness to fill your hearts. Instead, think on those things that are lovely, just and pure. Our history shouldn’t infuriate us, but it should continue to promote zeal for our mission and humility and gratitude in our everyday lives.
