Thanks to ALL of our first responders!

Thank you all for the overwhelming response to our Vacation Watch service yesterday! Due to the high volume of requests for extra patrols over Spring Break, we've decided to launch our newest initiative early - the Experimental Wee Guardians: Roach Operative Security Squad (E.W.G.R.O.S.S.).

We planned to delay the launch until we worked out all the bugs (with pushups and situps, mostly), but the demand is too great. As part of the Phase 1 rollout, we've outfitted approximately 32,000 roaches with emergency equipment and set them loose in the City to keep an eye on your homes, apartments, and businesses. You’re welcome! We can already hear your screams of joy at the added safety and security.

***Please do not squish our Wee Guardians. We've invested a lot in their tiny lightbars***

Mayor and Council will place a wreath and observe a moment of reflection during the brief ceremony.

This event is the former Roswell Food and Beverage Festival but leveled up! With over 20+ chefs representing the finest that Roswell has to offer, the ticketed festival will welcome 700 - 800 guests by offering local bites, beers from local breweries, as well as local and national wine and spirits. The City of Roswell is now accepting applications for more than 150 summer positions with its Recreation, Parks, Historic & Cultural Affairs Department! A wide variety of positions are available to applicants age 15 and up, including camp counselors, lifeguards and aquatics coaches, sprayground attendants, and athletics and arts instructors. These are perfect positions for high school students and college students, as well as teachers and retirees looking for summer work.
