This past weekend Forerunner got to play a small part in the amazing . If you didn’t know, started the festival 3 years ago with the help of . Both of these guys have such a a huge love for film and the filmmaking process, but their true heart comes out in their care and support of the community of filmmakers that makeup the landscape of film production.

Every year they give back to that community and this year SAFF hosted an advanced camera movement course for attendees hosted by and . In this we got to see the abilities of the Arri Trinity as we shot an action sequence coordinated and performed by and directed by .paris.

It was fun to have so many of our friends come to help teach and create a fun little project, and it was refreshing for us Forerunner guys to sit back and take a backseat to these amazing creatives.

What a fun day this was. Big thank you to and her family for starring in the commercial and letting us drag them around the park the entire day. And a big thank you to Steve Kirtley for letting us use his jeep.

Our original plan was to do these same sequence of shots on their own without the added motion graphics but threw the idea out there to go with this approach for the motion graphics and it totally worked. It was a bold decision but it’s one we’re glad we made.

At the beginning of 2020 the three of us started this venture with big plans and even bigger aspirations. When faced with the challenges of 2020 we decided NOT to give in and to overcome.

We’ve been blessed with the opportunity to create great content with excellent people. To all of our clients and everyone that stood behind us, thank you. Words can’t express how grateful we are.

We ended up filling the entire left side of her porch with a silk to diffuse and soften the direct sunlight, then used the Aputure 300 dII with fresnel to fill in on the right side.

We loved the colors and look of this frame. Thanks to for arranging and setting up the beautiful set decorations.

Also thanks to for the second set of eyes on the monitor.
