Finished installing a rear view video mirror yesterday. Hopefully this will be a good option for seeing beyond the spare tire in the JKU. So far it looks like it will. Just have to finish the set up and take it for a test drive.

Happy Monday!

Focused on a little needed maintenance over the weekend. An oil and filter change on the tow rig, axle fluid for the JKU and a little stargazing with the wife. Now to put in the new camera rear view mirror.

Yesterday the sun came out for a bit so we decided to grab some breakfast then see how far up Imogene we could get safely. For us it ended just after the shelf road at the narrow section. With more snow coming in today this maybe the last run of the season for us. Overall it was a great day out exploring the snow covered San Juan Mountains.

Time for some good coffee then to get a few things done around the house today.

Decided to print out some metal photos for the workshop. I have been going through some old photos to find a few great ones and also a few Badge of Honor photos to place the badges on. This is one we did at Hoover Dam just prior to moving to Colorado.

This week will be the last week that Poughkeepsie Gulch is open this season. It is time to close it for the winter. It has definitely been a good summer to be exploring the San Juan Mountains but now it is time to explore the desert.

Almost time to blow out the irrigation lines and prepare for the freeze. Time to catch up on a little maintenance on the rigs also and possibly a few more modifications.
