Let’s clear something up: your problem might not be that you’re shadow-banned—it could just be that your content needs a better visual.

If you’re not getting the look you want, it might be time to up your B-roll game.

Good B-roll can transform your content, getting people to stop without scrolling away.

Your visuals are your first impression!

If you’ve been struggling with views, it might be time to focus less on what’s out of your control (like supposed shadow bans) and more on what you can improve.

Get creative, experiment with different shots, and see how it transforms your content.

Testing is the best, try out different types of shots to see what your audience engages with the most.

That big creator who says it's easy to go viral and all you need to do is post 2-3 times a day..... sounds easy for them since they have a 5-6-person team creating their content.

As a solo content creator, your goals, challenges, and resources are unique.

While team-based creators may have different objectives, your goals as a 1 person team are specific to your vision and brand.

THE SOLUTION:

Try to follow and take advice from creators who you know create their content in a 1 or 2-member team. This advice on time-saving or "viral" techniques can be more beneficial than that big-time creator.

Creators with more help can be easier but It doesn't mean anything when you're trying to take tips that are overwhelming and unfit 🤷🏼‍♀️

Let’s get real—there are all kinds of social media managers out there, and not all of them are cut from the same cloth. You’ve got:

The AI:
Automates everything, but sometimes feels a little too robotic.

The Hustler:
Working around the clock, always on the grind.

The Outsourcer:
Delegates everything to the point where you wonder if they even know what’s going on.

The Copier:
Follows trends to a T but doesn’t bring much originality to the table.

The 15-year-old cousin:
Your uncle’s budget-friendly choice, but let’s just say, you get what you pay for.

The Authentic No BS Girl Boss: (aka LOL)
Keeps it real, knows her stuff, and isn’t afraid to tell it like it is. That’s the kind of SMM you want in your corner.

If you’re navigating the world of social media, finding the right fit can be a game-changer.

So, which one are you working with? And if you’re the one in the driver’s seat, which type are you aiming to be?

Let’s keep it authentic and make some real connections out here.

Starting to post on Pinterest is not for the weak…

It might take a while before you see any results, and that is why SO MANY PEOPLE quit posting.

It’s all about mindset!!

Just keep posting no matter the results. On average, my pins don't get traction for a year.

Some of my pins are 4+ years old JUST NOW getting traction.

It can take a while for the algorithm to pick on your content. So just keep posting and wait.

Let’s talk about the BEST shots to have for your client in your back pocket: reaction shots.

If you don't have any client reaction shots, you’re missing out.

Think about it—those candid, real-time reactions can be used whenever a trend pops up! That is one of the hardest parts of being a social media manager, is trying to expedite a trend that you don't know will be popular by the time you can go film it in 1-2 weeks.

When a trend pops up, you most likely already have a shot you can use. You can repurpose these clips across different platforms, from Reels to stories to full-length videos.

💡 Here’s the thing: authenticity can’t be faked.

It’s what makes your brand truly yours, the unique signature that no one else can copy.

If you’re finding it hard to stand out, remember that your authenticity is your biggest asset.

Forget about trying to mimic what others are doing—focus on what makes your brand genuinely different.

It’s that realness that will connect with your audience on a deeper level. So, don’t be afraid to show the world what makes you, you.

POV: You girlbossed a little too hard, and now your favorite brands are sliding into your DMs, asking you to create content for them.

Feels surreal, right? One minute you’re just doing your thing, hustling and creating, and the next, brands you’ve always admired are noticing your work.

If you’ve been grinding away at your content, feeling like you’re not getting anywhere, just remember—it’s all about consistency and staying true to your style.

Let’s talk about one of the best tricks in the content creation game: repurposing.

If you’re constantly stressing over new ideas, it might be time to get creative with what you already have.

Think about it—just because you’ve posted something once doesn’t mean it’s done for good. That blog post you wrote? Turn it into a series of Instagram tips.

That live video you did? Break it down into bite-sized clips for Reels or stories. Even an old photo can get new life with a different caption or angle.

Repurposing content isn’t just about saving time; it’s about making the most of the hard work you’ve already put in.

Plus, not everyone in your audience saw it the first time, so why not give it another shot?

Next time you’re feeling stuck, dig into your archives and see what you can remix into something fresh.

Your content deserves more than a one-time shot.

Let’s stop worrying about….

- Comparing content
- Overthinking
- Small mistakes
- Metrics we don't control
- A "flopping" post
- Obsessing overviews
- Platforms being taken away

No one’s feed is perfect, and not every post is going to be a hit.

Instead of beating yourself up over it, take a breath and remind yourself why you’re doing this in the first place.

Creating content should be about expressing yourself, sharing your message, and connecting with your audience—not about chasing perfection.

So next time you catch yourself spiraling overviews or comparing your work to someone else’s hit pause.

Focus on what you’re doing, what you’re learning, and how far you’ve come. Remember, it’s a journey, not a race.

Let’s keep creating, keep experimenting, and most importantly, keep enjoying the process. The rest will fall into place.

I AM OBSESSED 🔮

Can we just take a moment to appreciate disco balls?

As a UGC creator, I’m crossing my fingers that these sparkly gems never go out of style.

They are the PERFECT pop for any UGC shot.

There’s something about that glittery reflection that instantly adds a fun, retro vibe to any shot—whether it’s a flat lay, a product highlight, or just some behind-the-scenes content.

Disco balls have this way of catching the light and drawing people in, making your content pop in a way that’s hard to ignore.

So here’s to hoping they never become cheugy and continue to bring that extra bit of shine to our feeds.

Let’s get real for a sec…

Basic promotional content isn’t going to make you go viral.

We’ve all been there, trying to push out that perfect post, thinking it’s going to blow up. But here’s the truth: people can spot promotional fluff from a mile away, and it’s not what’s going to make them hit that share button.

Authenticity is what gets people talking and sharing.

When your content resonates—when it feels real and relatable—that’s when the magic happens. It’s not about selling; it’s about connecting.

Think about the posts you’ve shared or saved—chances are, they weren’t ads.

They were stories, moments, or ideas that hit home. So, instead of focusing on making your next post perfect, focus on making it more relatable.

Share something that reflects your brand’s true voice, something that your audience can genuinely connect with.

It’s not about going viral; it’s about building connections that last.

Here’s a truth bomb: Viral content is not a content pillar.

We all love the idea of going viral, but building your entire strategy around that? It’s not sustainable.

If you’re constantly chasing that viral moment, you’re missing out on what matters—creating consistent, valuable content that connects with your audience.

We’ve all been there, putting so much pressure on ourselves to hit it big with every post. But the reality is, that the real growth happens in the day-to-day grind.

It’s the content that builds relationships, shares your story, and provides value that will stand the test of time.

Going viral might get you some quick attention, but it’s not what keeps people coming back.

So, instead of stressing about your next viral hit, focus on what you can control: showing up, being consistent, and creating content that reflects your brand’s true voice.

The steady, meaningful work is what builds a strong foundation—one that can support all those viral moments when they do happen.

Remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

🌱 August was a month of growth, and honestly, some of the lessons I learned hit hard.

If you’re in the trenches of content creation, maybe these will resonate with you too.

First off, I had to remind myself to stop overthinking every little detail. It’s easy to get caught up in making everything perfect, but sometimes good enough is just that—good enough.

I also realized it’s okay to take it slow. Hustle culture can be intense, but slowing down doesn’t mean you’re falling behind.

Mistakes? They’re just lessons in disguise. I messed up a few times, but instead of beating myself up, I decided to learn and move on.

Lastly, I had to accept that perfection isn’t the expectation. We’re all human, and trying to be perfect all the time is just exhausting.

So here’s to embracing the lessons and moving forward with a little more grace. What did you learn last month?

A quick tip: Just like that first sip of coffee, your video needs to hit the spot instantly.

We’re all guilty of the scroll-and-swipe, and with attention spans getting shorter than ever, those first few seconds are everything.

Make people stop, watch, and feel like they can't miss what you’re sharing.

No fluff, just straight to the point. Ready to start creating content that grabs attention? 🎬

Three things I'd never do to the girlies when creating content for your business:

1. Use going viral as the goal
2. Make you do a TikTok dance
3. Post BROLL you do not like how you look

Standing on business with the last one, I never do my clients dirty 🙂‍↕️

Not Every “Hack” is Healthy on Social Media

With countless “hacks” and shortcuts for growing your social media presence, it’s easy to fall prey to harmful practices that can actually hurt your brand.

While some strategies may promise fast results, they can also damage your reputation and integrity in the long run.

Remember, building an authentic and engaged community takes time and effort.

Make sure to follow creators that actually have good healthy ideas!!!

My favorites are:

Let’s talk about a little secret in the world of content creation that no one really tells you...

You’ll always feel like your content can be better, but it’s time to give yourself some credit!

Creating content is a journey, and it’s easy to fall into the trap of constantly chasing perfection.

But here’s the truth: your content is already amazing, and you should be proud of yourself for putting it out there!

We often forget to acknowledge the progress we’ve made and the hard work we’ve put into our content. Instead of always striving for better, take a moment to appreciate how far you’ve come.

Embrace the growth and improvements you’ve made along the way.

Remember, comparison is the thief of joy.

While it’s great to seek inspiration from others, don’t let it diminish the pride you should feel for your content. Each creator has a unique voice and perspective, and that’s something to celebrate!

Do you struggle with feeling like your content can always be better? pls tell me I’m not alone on this one 😂✌🏼
