We will start the kickball tournament at NOON TODAY. We have seven teams, the concession stand will be open, we have pull tab games for sale, really cool raffle items, 50/50, and a free bounce house for the kids, courtesy of our friend at the Brownsville Free Public Library! Come on down, bring your pop-up canopy and lawn chairs, and enjoy the day with us. All proceeds benefit Brownsville Youth League Baseball and the South Brownsville Fire Company!

We have a special treat for our listeners on Tuesday, March 26. Our most popular show to dtate was our Valentine's Day show, where we had second grade students from the Brownsville Area Elementary School tell us all about how they imagine their very first date will be.The cuteness factor was off the charts! We received over 4000 views!
Since WMBS covers the entire region, I decided to get some other schools involved. So, on the March 26 show, a new group of second grade students from the Bullskin Twp Elementary School will tell us how to prepare the perfect Easter dinner. Tune in to WMBS at 3:15 and listen in. The baskets are rolling in for our Irish (Chinese) Auction during my Lighter Side Radio Show on Tuesday. So far we have several Irish-themed baskets, a Colebrook Chocolate basket, a kids summer fun basket an Easter wreath, an Irish wreath, an Easter candy basket, several beautiful handmade wood crafts, and several others. I invite everyone, especially my first responder friends, to stop by and buy some chances to win one of these awesome items. Tickets are $1.00 each or 10 tickets for $5.00. While you're there, grab some free Irish swag, have a green cupcake and a glass of NA Irish punch. And join us for an Irish sing-along. All proceeds benefit the National Kidney Foundation! The big St. Patrick's Day show is taking shape. We have several beautiful baskets already but we could use more. Here are the details:
Event kicks off at 2:30 as Russ Rhodes has graciously allowed us the last half hour of his show to start things off.
We will have a live bagpiper playing some Irish and Scottish tunes
We will welcome our special guests: Vince Vicites, Tim Dye Jeff Redman Mayor Bill Gerke, and hopefully more elected officials and if their schedules allow

They are jpeg files, like pictures, and you can click on them, save them and print them if you wish. I'm sorry the print is small, but that's the best I could do. It's in a word document, so if anyone knows of a better way to post them for saving and printing, please let me know!
