TYNGSBOROUGH TOWN BEACH is open! The water was retested by the Tyngsborough Board of Health and bacteria levels are reported to be safe for swimming. Enjoy!

8/9/24 UPDATE: After being retested, the beach is showing lower, acceptable levels and has been re-opened by the Board of Health.

Please be advised that due to high bacteria levels, the Town Beach on Lake Mascuppic is closed until further notice.

The beach will be retested and when the test levels come back normal, it will be re-opened.

Message from National Grid: National Grid helicopter to patrol entire electric Transmission system.

Beginning 5/6/24, National Grid will perform a visual patrol of our entire electric Transmission system. This work is expected to take approximately 10 days to complete. Our pilots will fly Monday-Friday at our normal flight height and are not expected to hover around transmission towers or circuits unless an issue is found.
