They teamed with the legendary Gib Stanley to form the sports department of WUAB Channel 43's 10 O'clock News. Remained good friends for over 35 years as their Emmy Award winning careers took them in different directions. Today Dave Bacon and Jeff Phelps are reunited to call NCAA Basketball on ESPN for The Legends of Basketball Showcase at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
