Saying "Goodbye" to Audio Recording Studio are Alex Bevan(Cleveland Treasure), George Stage(Audio's Director of Engineering), John Thomas(Audio Engineer) and yours truly, Reed Wheeler(Audio Engineer/TCO Editor). It was bittersweet to see our old friends again, but sad to say goodbye. Bruce Gigax is still recording at remote locations for NE Ohio's finest musicians.

A 22 year old Cherilyn Sarkisian, (later just Cher), recording at Muscle Shoals Sound in April of 1969, with Barry Beckett and David Hood working on “3614 Jackson Highway” the first record recorded in the studio.

Here, Loras John Schissel was in Audio Recording Studios to mix (March 2004) a then recent LUDWIG PUBLISHING recording from the previous January 2004. Maestro Schissel has always conducted these sessions of Cleveland's finest union musicians in the sight-reading marathon recordings for LUDWIG's annual publications audio catalog releases for Marching/Concert Bands, Orchestras, and other educational ensembles. Recording sessions were held on location previously at Baldwin Wallace Kulas Hall, and for the past couple decades, at Midview High School's band rehearsal room. Two days are always booked as we break out the big microphones and remote gear to capture the magic, then we mix-down and edit to producer Schissel's exacting perfection, Bruce Gigax, engineering.

Geoff Emerick, engineer for The Beatles' "Revolver", "Sgt. Pepper", and the White album, had come to Cleveland to promote his book, "Here, There and Everywhere"(ca. Sept. 2011). He requested his LA protege and local engineer Tom Anderson to arrange a tour of THE CLEVELAND ORCHESTRA's Severance Hall. We were more than happy to meet them there to assist in the tour.
