Seed Creative will be closed until January 6. This has been the greatest year in our company history, shattering many records in terms of number of deliverables, new clients, new employees, and sales.
Over 1,000 videos were delivered to Seed Creative clients in 2024 🤯

It’s always fun to look back. Started as a dream to record and produce music in a moldy shed with no heat or AC. Only to realize video had always been a passion of mine, and that audio dream morphed into a video production company that has clients all around the world, and is about to close out our 10th year in business. So thankful for my wife for pushing me to pursue this. It has changed our family tree. So thankful for our clients all around the world that trust us with their stories. And so incredibly thankful for the Seed Creative team! They make Seed what it is today! I know this would normally get posted on Thanksgiving, but hey… I’m thankful now…no need to wait ❤️

A video we shot on a Thursday, edited on a Friday, was shown in front of over 110,000 people on Saturday. These videos will be used in every home game for the foreseeable future, in multiple sporting venues, and will have different versions based on the sporting event it’s being shown at.

Those who have known me my entire life, or even in high school, are aware of my annoyingly extreme hyper focus that I can have on things. Maybe you knew me when it was skateboarding that ran my life, all I would do was talk about skateboarding, try to show my skateboarding videos during class at school. Maybe it was my Band, good Lord, how annoying was I then!? Maybe it was during our skateboarding ministry. And now here we are at Seed Creative. The difference between Seed Creative and those other things however, is Seed Creative is not just something for myself. Battleground skate ministry was not for myself either of course, so I could equate seed and Battleground in ways. I just want to take the time to say thank you to my wife Kristy for all that she does behind the scenes so that this company cannot only provide for our family, but create jobs and provide for others as well. She has been putting up with me all these years, puts up with me daily, helping me navigate ways to run this company.

We have always been interested in building something bigger than we are, and over the next few weeks I will have several bits of exciting news to share that will strengthen that goal. We’ve been building workflows, new corporate structuring, more optimized uses of talented people, etc. Ways to take how we do things to the next level in a professional environment. Thankful for our amazing clients that have stuck with us, believe in us and our mission. Especially grateful for folks like Alabama Community College System, motionVFX.com, Strada, and so many more. You all are making as much a difference in our lives as we are through your videos. Thank you 😊

We love what we do. We learned today that our videos we create for the “skills for success” courses for the Innovation Center have been taken by over 20,000 students. We also learned about a kids life whose whole family has been evicted several times, he took these classes, and now has a job that is going to change his family generationally. Making content that makes a difference in people’s lives. That’s what we do ❤️

So excited to finally share this! We have been working on such a cool project with o2 ideas for The AMP at the University Of Alabama. This project was so interesting, because it was to populate a huge curved LED wall in the AMP with video all about EVs. Tackling shooting a composition for this aspect ratio was very challenging but a ton of fun. The ratio is 16:3, and I have shared some examples of what that looks like "virtually" since sharing that size image on Facebook would get distorted. But it's VERY wide. Anyway, enjoy, and please ask any questions! We love to answer them!
