While the ceremony was taking place, Kenisha and the K Love team were already hard at work inside — prepping every detail for the Hancocks and their guests.

From the presentation, to the food, to the overall setup… they did not disappoint. And let me tell you — this room was FULL of candles. Lighting it all wasn’t rushed. It wasn’t quick. It was done with care, intention, and excellence.

Take a glimpse at these shots before the crowd came in.

Do you notice details like this when you walk into a reception space? 👀✨

While vows were being said… THIS was happening inside...

Let me tell you.... The Hancocks ceremony was going on outside at the chapel, Kenisha and her K Love team were inside WORKING. Do you hear me?!?!?!

From setting up the coffee and hot cocoa bar outside, prepping the charcuterie cups, getting the buffet line together, to lighting all those candles — their work was far from light.

But one thing for sure… everything was prepped, intentional, and looking GOOD before guests and the Hancocks walked in.
Stay tuned for the photos.

Watching Kaden dance with his mom was one of those moments that just makes you pause and smile. They chose “Can She Have This Dance” by Drew Baldridge, and from the very first note, you could tell this song meant something to them.

Kaden never stopped smiling the entire time. Laughing, holding his mom close, just fully in the moment, and that’s how you know the love is real. This wasn’t about a routine or a performance. It was about appreciation, gratitude, and a bond that’s been built over a lifetime.

You could see how much his mom means to him just by the way he looked at her.

Which one gets you every time... mother & son or father & daughter?

Let’s throw it back to the moment Chris surprised his wife Alisha at her 40th birthday party.

She walked into her surprise celebration already surrounded by love, family, and so many thoughtful moments… but when Chris began singing I Cross My Heart by George Strait, that’s when the room truly stood still.

Listen to how he sings to her — holding her hand, looking her straight in the eyes, fully present in that moment.

No rushing.
No distractions.
Just love.

That was the icing on the cake.
Not just because he sang… but because you could feel the years, the commitment, and the heart behind every word.

This is the kind of love that reminds you what it’s really about.
And moments like this? We absolutely LOVE being a part of them.

What’s the most meaningful surprise you’ve ever witnessed or experienced?

Sam making her entrance… and let me tell you, she couldn’t have picked a better song.

Walking down the aisle to First Time by Teeks was EVERYTHING. The song. The moment. The meaning behind it all. When you know their love story, it just hits different.

They met in California during college and have been together ever since — growing, learning, and choosing each other through every season. And listening to how their family spoke so highly of them? Whew… that alone would bring a few tears 🥹

Sam has such a genuine heart of gold, and it showed in every step she took. She looked absolutely amazing, but more than that, you could feel the love surrounding her — from her family, from Chase, and from everyone who knows their story.

This entrance was beautiful in the quietest, most meaningful way.
And trust me… there’s so much more from the Hancocks’ wedding to share 🤍
Stay tuned.

Because y’all asked… we had to run it back.

This is a throwback from Alisha’s 40th surprise birthday party — and let me tell you, she had NO clue what her husband Chris had planned that day. Before any guests arrived, before the surprise, before the emotions hit… Chris pulled me to the side and asked if he could run through the song he wanted to sing to his wife.

He chose I Cross My Heart by George Strait — and he wanted to make sure everything was right. Lyrics. Timing. Vocals. The moment.

And listen… this was JUST the practice 😮‍🔥
Chris did not disappoint. You could hear the love, the nerves, and the intention in every word. This wasn’t about performing — this was about honoring his wife in a way she’d never forget.

If this rehearsal already has you feeling something… just wait until you see the moment when Alisha actually walks in 🥹
That’s a whole different level.

Let me tell you something… as a DJ, I did not waste any time getting this crew ready to party 😮‍🔥

They were already out there doing the Cha-Cha Slide, feeling good, hitting the “reverse, reverse” just right. But listen… I slid Low by Flo Rida right into the mix and I know they were like —
“Hold up… wait a minute… I thought we was reversing??” 😂

Oh trust me… I reversed it alright 🃏
Pulled the DJ version of a reverse UNO card and said, baby it’s time to get LIT.

And THIS right here?
This is where the vibe started shifting.
This is where the party woke up.
This is where the Whitleys’ reception really began 😮‍🔥

You’re gonna want to stay tuned for these BTS clips… because once it took off, it TOOK OFF 💃🏽🕺🏽

More BTS from this reception coming real soon 😮‍🔥

This is Chase making his entrance — sharp in his white coat tux and fully present 🤍

And let me tell you something about this young man… I had only known him for a few hours, but it didn’t take long to see the kind of heart he has.

Before the ceremony started, I realized I’d left my phone inside the Villa. I saw my Lady Friend making her way down the hill toward the chapel, so I yelled up for her to grab it and bring it down. She did — but that hill? Full of gravel. And she had on some high heel boots.

As Chase and his groomsmen were heading down for the ceremony, he noticed her struggling and didn’t hesitate. On his wedding day, with everything going on, he politely stepped in and said, “Hey ma’am, let me help you.” Making sure she didn’t fall. No cameras. No attention. Just kindness.

That moment spoke volumes.
Not just because of what he did — but because of how naturally love and respect showed up in him.

So here’s a quick glimpse of the groom himself — Chase — walking in looking sharp.
And trust me… it only goes up from here 🤍
This is from the Hancocks’ wedding.

What’s a small act of kindness you’ve seen that made a big impression? 🤍👇🏽

This is one of those moments you feel, not just watch…

Cade and Carly sharing their first dance as husband and wife at The Farm in Akron, AL, surrounded by family, friends, and the people who’ve loved and supported them every step of the way.

They chose Weight of Your World by Chris Stapleton, and whew… if you’ve ever listened to that song and really felt it, then you already understand why it was perfect for them.

What made this even more special was seeing their wedding party standing nearby... groomsmen and bridesmaids with their sticks in the air, swaying side to side, fully present and soaking in the moment with them.

No rushing.
No distractions.
Just love, music, and that quiet realization of we’re really married now.

These are the moments that don’t need hype or big announcements.
They speak for themselves.
And this one spoke volumes 🤍

What song would you choose for yours?

The guests at the Porters’ wedding heard “Play That Funky Music” by Wild Cherry and went straight into party mode. No hesitation. No warming up. They hit that dance floor READY.

What I love about moments like this is the way everybody, all ages, all friend groups, all families come together as soon as that opening groove hits.

There’s just something about a good old-school funk record that gets people moving without even thinking about it.

You ever tell yourself, “I’m just gon’ chill tonight… I ain’t doin’ too much,” and then a song hits you in your chest like, “nah, get up REAL quick”? 😂

Scott was literally standing by the door, calm… collected… cooling like he was trying to blend in with the wall. But the second that beat kicked in?

Baby, Scott’s shoulders betrayed him. His knees woke up. His feet said “let’s do a lil somethin’ real quick.”

Who does this wedding guest remind you of in YOUR family?

Tag them! 😂👇

One thing this business has taught me is that it’s not just about playing music — it’s about being present 🤍

I love to dance, I love to enjoy the moment, and I love creating special connections with guests because you never know who might need that little boost of love and attention.

At the Rogers Christmas party, I noticed this sweet older lady dancing all by herself. I had just played Treat Her Like a Lady by The Temptations, and I thought to myself… yeah, I gotta dance with her.

She was absolutely beautiful in her turquoise gown, with the kindest spirit and a heart full of warmth. Moments like that remind me why I do what I do. I was taught at an early age to respect your elders, to show them love and care — because one day, we may need that same grace returned to us.

At the end of the day, I’m just grateful to see people enjoying themselves, feeling seen, and feeling joy. That’s what it’s really about.

What’s a lesson you learned early in life that’s stayed with you? 👇🏽
