Networking online is important but networking offline...
1. First impression immediate connection....or not.
2. Allows you to speak up and respond in real-time.
3. Can make you the expert. Depending on the circumstance.
4. Creates meaningful relationships.
5. It allows you to show your personality along with your skills.
There are obvious benefits to both. When it comes to business my advice is to network both ways. Just because the world has gone digital does not mean meeting in person or visiting a business you are interested in networking with is not important. In the Dominican Republic, travelers entering will not be required to submit a negative PCR test. All arriving passengers will pass through a heat/temperature sensor upon arrival. If a passenger shows an elevated body temperature they are pulled for further investigation and may incur a rapid test. All travelers will also be granted a complimentary, temporary travel assistance plan that will include coverage for emergencies, telemedicine, lodging for prolonged stays and costs for changing flights in the event of an infection. This will be provided for all travelers through April 30, 2021.
