It was a beautiful weekend, especially for golfers some 40,000 of whom jammed courses across the state. It was a great weekend not to be running one of these, which we used to do this time of year in Tulsa and OKC. The golf expos were fun but a lot of work to get destroyed by a 70-degree weekend. Time moves on.

Congrats to Sequoyah High School golfer Beans Factor, who has committed to Manhattan University, a private Division I university located in the Bronx. The golf program is new and will be playing its first season in 2025-26, but coach Keith Prokop has been successful with the men's program for years.

The Wall Street Journal's 2025 Best Colleges in the U.S. ranked Manhattan 52nd among America's 500 leading academic institutions - placing it in the top 10 percent in the country. It is also ranked #20 by the Wall Street Journal for starting salaries after graduation and #1 for salaries in the northeast region.
