🎶 Today, we celebrate what would have been George Harrison’s 82nd birthday! 🎉When you visit The Church Studio, you’ll find a unique collection of Concert for Bangladesh memorabilia—a historic event that marked the first collaboration between George, Leon Russell, and many talented Tulsa musicians, orchestrated by the late Don Nix. With Dark Horse Records (George’s label) acquiring part of Leon’s catalog and George’s time spent within our studio walls, his legacy is woven into the very fabric of The Church Studio. He is so deeply missed, but his music and spirit continue to inspire us every day. ❤️

A true pioneer of the "Cosmic Cowboy" movement, he helped shape the "Outlaw" Country scene in Austin, Texas. Michael's songs have been recorded by artists such as Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, and Johnny Cash.

Her soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics made an unforgettable impact, earning her a Grammy nomination that year for Best New Artist and a spot on Rolling Stone's cover.
