Over the past few months, I have really been thinking and pondering if Thom Charlie, the previous name of our company, was the right and most fitting name to have.

You see, Thomas is my middle name and Charles is my brothers middle name and so you get Thom Charlie. Well, my brother isn’t a part of this company and people kept calling me Thom so the time has come for some change.

Introducing…Kite Films. Well, what does Kite mean?? Kites, generally speaking, are for kids…and as I am getting older I keep going back to the time when I was kid. The joy, the laughter, the creativity you had and the feeling of “I don’t care what you think, I am going to explore and try things and be free.”

So that’s what Kite is to me…it’s a childlike faith. It’s never losing the wonder of what is possible. It’s always looking up and being in awe of our Creator…Kite is the purest form of creativity.

When you are free to create that’s when the magic can happen.
