Owl babies are the cutest!

I shared this photo on my personal page, so I apologize if you've already seen it. However, this is one of my favorite times of year, I love being able to go back year after year and watch this amazing act of nature!

My dad and his best friend Randy, have always been the first two people I'd send owl updates to. Randy past away recently, and the owl babies really made that sink in... So in his honor, and in honor of the amazing friendship he and my dad had, I'm nick naming these two babies Mike and Randy!

The wind slowed, the babies peeked out and the sunshine put out the most beautiful spotlight!

I still remember the first time my Dad let me “take the shot” instead of him, it was a major turning point in my life. The bald 🦅 eagle was sitting in the 🌲 and he handed me the camera, that feeling is ingrained in my soul…and I still get it every single time. Whether it’s shooting for myself, for a client, receiving a comment about my work; that same feeling consumes my soul! 🔥 Now I get to share it with my kids!!

I absolutely loved watching this nest year after year! About 5-6 years ago the nest was destroyed, but it was rebuilt by some very hopeful folks… this year we have red-tailed hawks!!!!!!

My sweet (not so little anymore) guy hopped out of the car after a long day of playing in the sun to capture the start of wildflower season for his mama!! What a guy! ☺️

“Wait, Mommy…you for real got to hang out with a real celebrity?”

Tanya, on the left, is a local realtor here in Oracle. My kids were blown away that I got to meet her in real-life, after seeing her photo on her real-estate signs around town. I love kids and how they view the world, best hype-men around!! El Rancho Robles was the perfect backdrop for updating her family portraits.
