something about the quiet beauty of dawn and the slow rise of the sun glowing over the mountains makes me love it just as much as chasing sunsets. The most special part of weddings for me is experiencing the love that completely fills the room for the Bride and Groom, and it was so overwhelming this day! You can feel the excitement and joy in the air from everyone in attendance.

I have been so blessed to have SO MANY new friends on here, so I thought what a perfect time to reintroduce myself (and also give a sneak peek at some fun new things coming a little later this year!)

Hiii! 👋🏻 I’m Haley, AZ based digital and film photographer specializing in couples, weddings and intimate elopements.

Before even jumping into this business, I don’t remember a time where I didn’t have a camera in hand. I remember running around in my pre-teens on every family trip or event with an old minolta film camera that was gifted to me, taking photos of everything and anything. As the years have gone by, I kept getting asked to take photos of people (which was so scary to me!) and eventually even got asked to photograph my sister’s small wedding. even though I cringe at those photos now, it ignited a fire and passion in me to want to capture the beauty of love between two people. I’ve had the amazing opportunity to do just that for almost two years now; I still can’t believe it and I am loving every. single. second.

For all my past couples that have let me in to capture the sweet, intimate moments of their love story, I am immensely grateful more than words can express.

there is something SO magical about Sedona at sunrise 🤩

K + J met me in Sedona for a couples session (and came all the way from Tucson)! We braved the early morning cold and hiked into Bell Rock as the sun rose, and were met with the prettiest cotton candy skies. I always feel so lucky getting to do what I do and having the opportunity to capture love all over this beautiful state!

The dreamiest elopement among the Red Rocks ✨

When Allie reached out to me earlier this year about eloping in Sedona, I fell in love with her and Billy’s vision about what they wanted for the day and was so excited to capture it. They were both just genuinely so excited to get married, so why wait to plan a wedding and instead plan an epic adventure elopement in the dreamiest location in Sedona!

The love between them both was so palpable and being able to feel the excitement radiating from their family and friends was so touching. Still such a pinch me moment that I get to capture moments like these. 🥹✨

My Biggest takeaways going into 2024 as a documentary style wedding photographer:

🎞️ Your Wedding Day should not feel like a photoshoot! Having a less strict photo timeline will mean more intentional time enjoying and experiencing your wedding day!

🎞️ As a photographer, I will never prompt you or your bridal party to “fake laugh” for the camera. I instead will give you fun little activities to capture those moments organically so it means THAT much more!

🎞️ Don’t stress too much about sticking to “trends” during wedding planning. Making choices that are sentimental and personal to you will mean so much more looking back on your wedding day than any trend you may or may not have followed!

🎞️ On the other hand, you can ABSOLUTELY partake in wedding trends no matter if social media says it’s “in” or “out”! If you love it, DO IT!

🎞️ Your Wedding gallery should reflect YOU. I 100% believe in documenting real and authentic interactions and emotions, you won’t hear me asking you to do anything just to capture a photo.

The dreamiest elopement at Saguaro National Park 🌵✨

Shanen + Mark’s elopement day was so intimate, and the quiet serenity of the desert made it the perfect location to slow down and take in every single moment. This day was a perfect reminder that even though the hustle and bustle of a traditional big wedding can be so fun, intimate elopements can be just as magical and why I absolutely love to help capture them!
