Hi all,
In light of the unrelenting overpopulation at local shelters I’ve decided to offer discounted private lessons to shelter and rescue dogs new and old. Starting now until the end of 2024 our hour long private lessons (normally $125) will be $90 for rescue pups with proof of adoption from a local shelter or rescue org.

Below is our link to schedule a $45 half hour phone consultation to get started. The phone consult is an awesome resource full of training advice for people looking for affordable training support as well.

This economy is tough and I know that is a huge part of why the shelters are full. I want to make it easier for dogs to stay in their homes if money is a barrier to training, so I’m extending the rate I offer our rescue partners to the humans who have committed to homeless dogs in Pima County until the end of the year. I wish I could do more, but this is what I’ve come up with to contribute to the issue for now. Spread the word to those in need.

Balto’s BIG Day Out — for real!! 🐕😝🥳

After 1 year and 8 months apart, my Bubbalub came home to me yesterday and just like that, our pack is back together🫶🏻

I have no words to explain the roller coaster of emotions these past two years have been but I am just so grateful that my prayers were answered and my baby boy is back in my arms for good. We took a nice little pack walk around the park he used to explore everyday (thank you Rise Above Dog Training!) and then spent the afternoon making up for lost snuggles🥰

Unfortunately, in our time apart, Balto developed severe eye issues and is being monitored for a condition called Pannus. He receives two different eye drops twice each day and requires these sweet doggles (dog goggles😅) whenever he is out in the direct sunlight☀️

Thank you to Eye Care for Animals for helping us get the drops Balto needed yesterday in a pinch. And a HUGE thank you to the owner of D'Ogee's Place for helping us get this guy fitted with a fresh pair of Rex Specs😎

I’m planning to get him back on a fresh food diet asap to help slow, and hopefully reverse, his condition. I’m also looking into pet insurance to help alleviate the costs. If anyone has thoughts/recommendations on either, please drop them below! 👇🏻

Just Ghost being a purebred good boy on a pack walk today with Rise Above Dog Training 🥰🥳

We mixed it up and held a mini pack walk for our group class today and everyone did awesome! Two of my biggest behavioral buddies showed up and rocked it navigating past dogs, bikes, people, and each other like a bunch of good dogs 🙏 The class ended in a unanimous vote that we should make group walks a regular thing, so be sure to send us an email if you’re a current client that would like to sign up to join us on our next one! Thanks to Ghost and his mom for meeting up with us and catching this great picture of our adventure, and thanks to Acorn and her humans for holding it down as the line leaders! ❤️🐾
