ASARCO Mineral Discovery Center & Mine Tours has a free self-guided tour of the indoor and outdoor exhibits, which walks through the copper transformation process. They also offer a 65-minute paid tour of the mine.

Took a hot air balloon ride with Hot Air Expeditions and it was an awe-inspiring experience. We were able to fly over and around Twin Peaks and were even able to see the sunrise a mile in the air. We also enjoyed a beautiful breakfast, with champagne and orange juice, and they shared a great story of the origin of hot air ballooning and a lovely toast.

Udall Park Farmers Market, a hub of over 40 vendors offering local and organic produce, farm-fresh eggs, Arizona grass-fed beef, local honey, fresh locally roasted coffee, an array of baked goods, salsas, tortillas, and freshly roasted vegetables. The market also features unique finds like pet products, artisanal soaps, and more.
Taking place every Friday at Udall Park. From October through March, the market welcomes visitors from 9 am to 1 pm, shifting to an early start from 8 am to 12 pm from April through September.

Mission San Xavier del Bac, was founded in 1692 in the center of a centuries-old settlement of the Sobaipuri O'odham, a branch of the Akimel or River O'odham located along the banks of the Santa Cruz River. The mission that survives today was built between 1783 and 1797 and is the oldest European structure in Arizona. Visit and be awed by the stunning architecture and rich history.

Kartchner Caverns is a massive living cave that is awe-inspiring and incredibly well-preserved.
Quick note, they are no longer a cave with one of the world's longest soda straw stalactites. Exploration in Mexico has discovered a soda straw reported to be 6.63 meters long.

The Pima County Historic Courthouse was designed by architect Roy Place and built-in 1929. Its iconic mosaic dome has become one of the most recognized structures in the region, but this isnโ€™t the only thing that has made this courthouse famous. In 1934, John Dillinger and three of his gang members were held in this facility for four days, during that time the Courthouse made headlines across the nation.

LightsUp! A festival of Illumination is back at the Tucson Botanical Gardens! The Gardens are transformed into an artfully sequenced series of illuminated experiences. Thousands of LED lights illuminate each tree, and custom-built, oversized structures delight the senses. These include the light tunnel, dancing cypress-inspired spindle trees, traditional punched-tin stars & trees, light curtains (great for photo-ops), and a dazzling display of luminarias like youโ€™ve never seen before. The event is an absolute blast and great for the entire family. Itโ€™s currently taking place until January 7th, so donโ€™t miss it!

We are back at the Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures to check out some of the new exhibits. There is a ton to see like Jim Roarkโ€™s Metal Monsters, Favored by the Gods: Legendary Figures of Ancient Greece, Japanese Netsuke: Upholding Cultural History of Japan, as well as their permanent Christmas collection. They also have Exquisite Miniatures by Wes and Rachelle Siegrist on display until January 21st featuring some amazing miniature paintings. If you havenโ€™t been, it is definitely worth a visit!
