ra used that knowledge to start a rap group called Suthern Bellz. This female hip hop duo opened for T.I. Paul Nightclub, Young Jeezy at his album release of Thug Motivation 101, took the stage in front of 10k people at Turner Field, for a charity event called Hosea Feed The Hungry. Suthern Bellz then became a resident artist for Shyran’s Showcase at O’Reilleys Nightclub, and also held a crowd of 10k people during an amazing performance at the Sweet Auburn Festival in Atlanta. Suthern Bellz then dropped their first mixtape in 2006 titled Masterpiece Vol 1, of which they sold 800 copies out of the trunk soon after! The success Mz Ohara received in music, led to the start of Suthern Bell Entertainment, where as an independent label owner, the decision was made to begin a solo career. After building a professional music studio with husband C.B, Mz Ohara decided to continue under the brand of Steady Grindin, which represented a family of music artists. Determined for success in the scene, C.B. worked a deal with Crunchy Black of Three 6ix Mafia, which led Steady Grindin to their first recording contract with HHMG. Appearing on the mixtape The Blackout La Familia, which sold in all stores worldwide, Steady Grindin also released The Devil’s Advocate. Their exposure quickly grew with a feature on “A Girl and Her Hip Hop.com,” another feature on “HipHopDX.com,” an article in Rude Boy Magazine, a feature on “UndergroundHipHop.com,” then again with a feature on “MemphisRap.com.” The groups profile grew further to see Steady Grindin with radio play and interviews at Radio One Black, Fort Valley College interviewed the group and followed it with a live show. Steady Grindin was invited to the Georgia Convention Center to perform at V103 FM event called 4 Sista’s Only, and then they even hit the international market with radio play and interviews in Australia through Underground Australia Hip Hop. Currently Mz Ohara and C.B. are owners of BRMB Radio with a reach of over 1 million listeners.
