Authority Health is a health and human services organization that believes everyone deserves to live healthy lives in healthy communities. It is the second-largest teaching center in the nation, preparing physicians for the future. They focus on both physical and mental health, and with their current project, they aim to help people understand the impact of the food they consume. Tonight, on our new Spotlight Episode, we had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Anil Kumar and Sunny Reddy for WSU Board of Governors, Candidates at MEA Studios with our CEO, Wally Jadan.

In this episode, we speak with Sunny and Dr. Kumar. Sunny is running for the WSU Board of Governors and is a proud Wayne State alumnus. His passion for the university is deeply rooted and he explains the amazing experience had at the University. During a conversation with a student at the university, it was revealed that tuition has significantly increased within all Universities, making it harder for many to afford college. Furthermore, graduates often struggle to find jobs that match their degrees. Sunny aims to bring additional support to address these issues, along with other initiatives to enhance the WSU experience, at WSU they have a goal to assist the future of these students. Dr. Kumar, a member of the WSU Board of Governors, has made a significant impact by advocating for minorities and supporting individuals in the community. He also encourages people like Sunny to contribute to meaningful change that will benefit both current and future students at Wayne State University.

Tonight, we welcome Madiha Tariq, MPH Deputy County Executive for Oakland County, Michigan Government for a new episode of "Spotlight Interview" with our host, Wally Jadan.

During this episode, we got the pleasure of getting to know Madihas's background, and at just the age of 16 years old Madiha came to the United States for higher education. She is now the first Muslim and immigrant American appointee in Oakland County history. They dive deep into explaining what Deputy Executives are, they are liaisons with the executive office and the programs. Madiha and the County government have a goal to make UX (User experience) to whoever comes to them for help with the services they provide. Oakland County has amazing plans to assist more people dealing with Mental Health, and they are happy to announce that they are opening up a Mental Health and social services walk-in clinic, located in Pontiac and will be opening early next year.

Saima aims to raise awareness about mental health, improve the handling of typical court cases, and find solutions that benefit the community.
