It's been quite some time since I've gotten a poster up for a new Live show. Tonight we put a stop to that bad trend with this offering. Tonight on The Glowing Dial Live with Big John and Company, we are doing a tribute to Richard Thorne's landmark series, "The Hall Of Fantasy"! We have several of our favorite episodes for you and we hope, yours too. My special guest co-hosts will be my dear friends, Johnny and Helen Holmes of Radio Once More! The whole thing starts at 6pm EST and goes until 10:30pm EST. More or less finished the website for this radio station! The station will hopefully launch in the next 1-2 months so stay tuned! The wait is because we are still setting up our new server system. Hope to have this done in May sometime. In the meantime, visit and take a listen to our flagship station, The Jack Benny Celebration at http://www.eternallythirtynine.com. This station has a page as do all of our stations. They also have Discussion Groups that go with each page. The Jack Benny Celebration discussion group is called "Wait A Minute"!!! It is easily accessed from the page. Info on all the stations is at http://www.glowingdialnetworks.org. We'd also like to announce the formation of Glowing Dial Productions. That page is also at the same site as The Glowing Dial Networks. Please take a look at all the service we offer and intend to offer in the future.

Hello listeners to The Glowing Dial Live with Big John and Company and The Glowing Dial with Big John and Steve. I want to announce our 2 Fundraising events, one going on now and the other in a few weeks.
We are doing these Fundraisers because we desperately need funds for a new computer, audio board, other equipment as well as funds to pay internet each month and other monthly costs we incur here at The Glowing Dial Networks.

The second Fundraiser is the big one! It is an 83 hour non-stop Radiothon to raise the much needed funds for The Glowing Dial Live to continue. We have special Live guests lined up like Martin Grams, Bobb Lynes, Kathryn Fuller-Seeley, Jayne Weiss, Donnie Pitchford, Garry Berman, Nick Parisi, Perry Huntoon, Steve "Archive" Urbaniak, Laura Leibowitz, Zach Eastman and a few more in the works! We'll also have many special items to entice you to donate. We have autographed books, special downloads of special and rare programming from Yesterday USA, chances for you to become a radio star, help for you to start your very own podcast, help making a commercial that will run on our stations and more!
The Marathon starts at 5pm Eastern on Yesterday USA Blue and will be on the Blue the whole time. It will also be on Yesterday USA Red at various times to be listed closer to the Marathon. The various times on the Red are so that we do not interrupt several recorded shows which have regular time slots at those various times.

'Tain't Finished McGee! What I mean by that, dearies is that this page, its accompanying web page along with its radio station, Fibber McGee's Closet are all just a week or so old and were, for the most part, created on my cell phone as I have been in the hospital£ most of the the time.

Amazing that I was able to get all this done on my cell phone! I will finish setting things up when I get home soon so please allow me some time. You'll have to put with some glitches as I work through it all.

Announcing the launch of the Fibbers McGee's Closet internet radio station! We intend to have a fairly complete episode package online for you! Plus this page and our website too!

A good number of the episodes you'll be hearing have been transferred and restored by my good friend Ted Davenport of Radio Memories. Ted has been a dealer in high-quality old time radio shows. He makes these available to collectors for a fairly price. He stands behind everything he sells. Ted will be offering a package of Fibber McGee and Molly most likely on a hard drive for a fairly price. Stay tuned for this offer which will be available exclusively to listeners of this station!
