💜 Our online Bible study group is finishing the book of Job this week.
This verse in the last chapter is something we should all keep close to our hearts each day.
Then Job replied to the LORD:
“I know you can do anything, and no one can stop you.”
(Job 42:1-2)
When you go through the trials of life, remember there is nothing God cannot do. No one can stand in His way!

💜 We see several examples in the Bible where Jesus went away from the crowds to be alone with God.
He needed to recharge. He needed to rest. He needed time with His Father.
I’m away this weekend preparing for Joytime - I am so eager to hear from the Lord as I pray, study and listen.
We are going to have an amazing weekend of worship, recharging and resting as we come together at Joytime!
Oh I hope you’ve made plans to be there as I know God has something special planned for us!

It’s a tough lesson to learn…but not everyone is on your side.
Not everyone will cheer you on. Not everyone will believe in what God is doing in your life.
That’s okay. Love those people but don’t let them discourage you.
Remember to stay in the Word of God. Be a woman who prays fervently, with a humble spirit. Walk by faith…not by how you feel.
Obedience is a requirement when it comes to following Jesus, so don’t just talk about it - be a person of action!
Following Him will require sacrifice and even some suffering. Don’t be afraid - He will see you through. Follow Him boldly and unashamedly, and don’t look back!
There will always be people who are against you…don’t focus on them. Instead, keep your eyes on Jesus and remember…when He is on your side, you have everything you need!

🌸 Sometimes the troubles of this life feel too heavy.
Sometimes we feel overwhelmed and defeated.
Sometimes we feel rejected and alone.
My friend, if you are feeling any of these things today, let these three words encourage your heart - Jesus loves you!

Some people say Christians have an upside down faith.
I can see why they think that because what God teaches us is the opposite of what the world teaches us.
The Bible tells us to…
🌸 Forgive others over and over again
🌸 Love and bless our enemies
🌸 Pray for those who hurt us
🌸 Put others before ourselves
🌸 Give generously
🌸 Lay down our lives for our friends
God’s ways are not our ways. His ways are higher and so much better than ours.
Our faith may seem upside down to this world, but we know when we humble ourselves before God, He has good and beautiful things ahead.

🌸The LORD is my shepherd.
Sometimes life feels like it is spinning out of control, but God promises to lead me to still and calm waters.
That’s an encouraging reminder.
If life feels overwhelming for you my friend, take time to be alone with God and listen for His still, small voice.
Trust that He is working something good out of your situation and believe in your heart that He will give you peace and joy in the middle of your trial.

🌸 We designed and printed several hundred of our Scripture Joy Cards in Spanish to send to Guatemala on a medical mission trip.
Our friends Caring Partners International gave them out to the community.
What a blessing to see these photos today! Please pray for the important work these missionaries are doing around the world!
