Sam Miltich Music is recovering from schizophrenia through the use of his talent for jazz music. The Grand Rapids musician has toured and won awards with his music, but right now he is concentrating on spreading his message of recovery at home through music performances across the Arrowhead, including a stop last week in Cook sponsored by Northwoods Friends of the Arts. The Arrowhead Regional Farm Bureau held one of its 'Supper on the Farm' events at Cook's Country Connection last night. The event highlights the often missed connection between how food arrives at our dinner tables. Bits and Pieces is now, as two tweens watching on their bikes, is now in bits and pieces. The vacant building was one of the oldest standing storefronts on Main St., the old Kittos Hardware, more recently Northern Cabin, and Bits and Pieces. The adjacent building was also torn down, and the city plans to make the kits available for future development
