🎶🚨OPEN MIC NIGHTS ARE BACK SPREAD THE WORD!!🚨🎶

Join us this fall for our Open Mic Night at The Outlet for the Arts! Musicians, comedians, and poets from CT, MA, and NY lit up the stage last year—now it’s your turn.

Every Thursday at 7 PM, bring your original material and perform on stage with professional lighting and sound. We provide the PA, monitors, and backline; you bring your talent. Each performer gets three songs, with a chance for an encore if time allows. The night wraps up with a jam session!

Admission is on a sliding scale of $10-$20 per person, which helps us keep this event going strong. BYOB (21+) and feel free to bring your own food. This isn’t your typical bar gig—it’s a true listening experience with all eyes and ears on the artist.

Join us at The Outlet for The Arts for a night of amazing music and entertainment. Get ready for the incredible performances of Wind of Sparrows, Dave Swanson, and Quinn. This in-person event promises to be an unforgettable experience that you won't want to miss. Grab your friends and come out for a night of great music and good vibes.

Wind of Sparrows, consisting of vocalist Jade Brannon and guitarist Nathan Orie, has been making music for over a decade. After being founded in the Springfield, Massachusetts area in 2012, Wind of Sparrows has performed throughout southern New England with their unique sound that blends acoustic, folk, and space rock, creating atmospheric soundscapes that invite the listener to become lost in the sound and stories of their music. After releasing their debut EP “Hiding Starlight,” the duo is planning to release their first full length album this fall.

Quinn is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Connecticut. They have been playing for over a decade and writing music since they were 8. They also front pop punk band, Cinema Stare!

Artist and Producer Dave Swanson has been writing songs for the past 20 years. With three solo albums under his belt, he explores universal themes of love, loss, faith and purpose. His songs are both soothing and inquisitive, melding elements of Folk, Americana and Indie Rock. Dave is currently working on a new EP that will be released in the Fall of 2024.
