My husband gave me a necklace for my birthday. It isn’t my style although it’s thoughtful and expensive. I’d prefer something more ‘me.’ Is it selfish to ask him to return it, or should I just be grateful he put in the effort? My sister says I’m being ungrateful if I say anything, but my best friend thinks honesty is better than pretending I like it. Would it be terrible to tell him the truth and ask him to exchange the necklace for another piece of jewelry? Should I prioritize his feelings or my own?

Hockey is making a comeback in Topeka with the revival of two former teams and the introduction of a new professional team for the next three years. The Stormont Vail Events Center will host four hockey games in January and February. Three Federal Prospects Hockey League teams will rebrand as the Topeka Scarecrows and Road-Runners. My ex-husband and I are engaged in yet another battle. He saw the story yesterday about the 9-year-old that got the American flag tattooed on her arm. Now, he wants to get our 10-year-old son inked. My son is all for it. I think 10 years old is way too young for a tattoo. My delusional husband does not. What do you think? My husband says we should allow our son to decide whether or not he wants a tattoo. He believes kids should start making important decisions for themselves when they turn 10 because it teaches them about their actions and consequences. I disagree
